EOS Adult Blue Lenses

I got my first lenses recently after reading some inspiring posts by Anna at http://fenuabeaute.blogspot.com/ - She's a go-to blogger for info on lenses and where to buy them, plus a super talented make-up artist. I bought my lenses from Kiwiberry

The lenses I choose were EOS Adult Blue (old) and they arrived within a couple of weeks of ordering and came with a free lens case.

Having never worn lenses its taking me a while to get used to, but I was surprised how easy they were to get in and out of my eye. The only problem I've encountered is the lens getting caught under my eyelid on one eye! For some reason it just wont fix in the right position like it does on the other eye. Hopefully more practice and experience with lenses will sort that out!

My eyes are naturally green, so blue seems to work quite well. The lens diameter is 14mm so it fully covers my iris and looks quite natural.

Lips: MAC 'Girl About Town'
Eyes: Urban Decay 'Jet', Barry M lilac, L'oreal Carbon Gloss Super Liner

Pirates of the Caribbean Nails of the Day

With the super exciting release of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, I've gone crazy for Pirate themes...not to mention for Lego Pirates of the Caribbean on Xbox 360!

Me and the boyf went to the opening night showing of Stranger Tides, and heres the special Nail Art tribute I did for it...

I also got this AMAZING ring from a little kooky shop on my street, perfect for a pirate premier

How Davy Jones is that little guy?! I love him!

Not one to miss a trick, OPI have launched a Pirates of the Caribbean collection, which quite frankly looks amazing...

Left to right: Mermaids Tears, Stranger Tides, Planks a lot, Sparrow me the Drama, Steady as she Rose, Skull & Glossbones, Silver Shatter

I want this so bad it hurts, especially Mermaids Tears and Planks a lot...and of course the silver shatter! I can think of some Lime Crime lipsticks that theyre gonna look ace with :)

Candy Robot Hearts (Lush Review)

So I've been lost to the blogosphere for a couple of weeks which I apologise for...
Anyway I'm back today with some of my recent Lush purchases:

'Creamy Candy' Bubble bar, which is similar to the Fluffy Egg I got for easter. I also bought 'Ickle Baby Bot' ballistic and 'Soft Coeur' Massage Bar.

Lush says 'Creamy Candy' gives you "Sweet, frothy and fluffy bubbles that smell like custard creams". Theyre not wrong, this bubble bar smells like a vanilla candy heaven. Its gorgeous, definitely for you if you like the Fluffy Egg or Rock Star soap.

The 'Ickle baby bot' ballistic is a super cute robot shaped bath treat, great for kids but perfect if you're a massive geek like me :P
Its lavender scented and makes for a soothing, relaxing bath - great to get you off to sleep after a stressful day. Turns your bath a subtle pretty blue too :)

Finally theres the Soft Coeur massage bar - For this review, I roped in my lovely boyfriend to give me a massage using this sweet little heart. It's a delicious cocoa smell, mingled with honey and omg you just want to eat it. It takes a little while to get enough of the bar melted, so definitely easier if you have very warm hands. Once on it felt lovely and the smell was gorgeous the whole time. It wasn't as sticky on my skin as I was expecting it to be either, which was a plus.
Try it if you like 'Honey I Washed the Kids' and 'Ma Bar' bubble bar. YUM!

Star Wars Day Nails - May the 4th Be With You

Today I received a bunch of packages I've been waiting for from overseas, including lower-lash eyelashes, a set of nail art pens and my first pair of EOS lenses!

As today is May 4th, I've used my new pens to do a Star Wars inspired nail set featuring Boba Fett, a stormtrooper and R2D2 :)

I bought these nail pens really cheap (about £8) on ebay from an international seller and they're really good for getting to grips with nail designs.
The lower lashes seen above are also from ebay, but im not completely convinced that these are good quality ones, so I'll have to test them out later.

I'll be trying out and reviewing my first EOS lenses tomorrow, with links and more info about lenses....
